Engaging Today's Youth (Part 1, 2 & 3)
In today’s fast-changing world, connecting with youth requires fresh strategies and a deep understanding of their experiences. Through discussions, real-world examples, and hands-on activities, participants will explore key engagement drivers, the impact of social media and mental health, and strategies for youth-led initiatives. Walk away with actionable techniques to strengthen connections and inspire the next generation!
StressLess (Ages 7-12)
A program developed by Strong Minds Strong Kids to equip youth-serving professionals in a group setting with practical tools, resources, and lesson plans. The goal is to help young people better understand and manage stress, develop effective coping strategies, and foster resilience. This curriculum is tailored to the needs of adolescents, offering guidance for navigating the challenges of this developmental stage
StressLess (Ages 12-18)
A practical introduction to stress management and resilience-building strategies tailored to adolescents. Featuring easy-to-use StressLess booklets, this interactive workshop equips participants with effective tools to support youth in navigating emotional and mental health challenges.
Mental Health First Aid: Supporting Youth
​This training is offered through AHVNA and facilitated by certified facilitators through the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Developed with input from educators, caregivers, and mental health experts to meet the unique needs of youth aged 12-24, this training offers practical tools to help adults recognize when a young person may be struggling and provides guidance on how to offer meaningful support.
Kimochis School Age
Participants will explore specific strategies and activities tailored for children aged 7-12, empowering them to adapt the Kimochis® tools to suit the developmental needs of this age group and implement them with caregivers. By extending these practices to school-aged children, we can cultivate a positive and emotionally resilient school community.
MindUP for Life
Equips participants with practical tools to promote mental fitness and resilience in children and youth through mindfulness strategies. MindUP can enhance family support, improve child outcomes, and strengthen caregiver-child connections.
Kids Have Stress Too! (Grades 1-6)
This training is designed to provide child and youth serving professionals with a comprehensive set of lessons, tools, and resources to help kids learn to manage stress, build effective coping skills, and nurture resilience.
