What We Offer

Early Childhood Focused Trainings

ASQ-3 and ASQ: SE-2

This training introduces participants to the Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3) and the ASQ®:SE-2, two evidence-based developmental screening tools designed to support early identification of developmental and social-emotional concerns in young children. Participants will learn how to use these tools in partnership with parents and caregivers to celebrate milestones, identify potential delays, and support next steps. This training emphasizes family-centered practices and practical strategies for effective screening and communication.

Developmental Screening and Hand in Hand Training

Participants will learn about the theoretical framework for building a developmental support plan (DSP), using the HiH resource, and how building a DSP can support development while children are waitlisted for more intensive services. HiH has a strong focus on social-emotional development to support the development and well-being of all children, while empowering families and caregivers to feel confident in supporting the children in their lives to reach their full potential.

Developmental Screening & Nurturing the Seed Training

Nurturing the Seed (NTS) is an innovative infant and early mental health program that aims to support and strengthen the well-being of Indigenous children, parents/caregivers, and communities. NTS fosters local leadership, supports front-line service providers, and responds to the needs of families by providing tools, coaching, and resources specific to the health and development of infants and children (ages 0-5). NTS utilizes developmental screening and culturally relevant, relationship-focused planning to support optimal development in young children.
