About: 

In this 4 part series on virtual supervision, you’ll increase your confidence in supervising your team in a completely or semi-virtual environment.

We will cover team supervision, as well as individual coaching, mentoring and developing your employees.

Additionally, we will talk about your emotional, physical and mental wellbeing as you adjust to continued pressures and challenges in this new way of leading your team!

You will leave the series with new tools, a shift in your mindset and growing inner confidence that you can handle virtual supervision!

Session 1 - Virtual team supervision - Tuesday, April 13, 2021

  • How to handle the challenges of not being in person long term
  • How to continue to have an “open door” policy...virtually
  • Special communication considerations when technology is involved
  • How to create team-building time, connections and water cooler conversations.

Session 2 - 3 step to coach, supervise and mentor virtually - Tuesday, April 20, 2021

  • How to engage with your employee
  • How to explore growth, development and challenges with your employee
  • How to empower your employee

Session 3 - Handling tough conversations virtually

  • Planning and preparing for a tough conversation
  • Special considerations for having the tough discussion virtually

Session 4 - Working from home

  • Productivity - dealing with distractions and learning to focus
  • Emotional stress management
  • Wellness at work strategies

About Facilitator: 

Leadership Development Coach Kathy Archer helps women develop confidence, maintain their composure and lead with integrity! She is the author of Mastering Confidence and the host of the Surviving to Thriving podcast.

Kathy is the creator of The Training Library membership site offering ongoing personal and professional development training.

Payments may be dropped off at the office or mailed to the address listed above prior to the workshop date. Receipts will be issued after the workshop.

Cancellation Policy:
We encourage you to send a substitute if you are unable to attend the workshop, as there is a NO SHOW charge for all absent registrants (as we will have made arrangements for food, etc). Cancellations need to be made ONE WEEK prior to the workshop date. Registration fees are non-refundable. Should a workshop not reach its minimum registration requirement, it will be cancelled ONE WEEK prior to the workshop commencement date. Registrants will be informed by email or telephone, and registration fees will be refunded.

Virtual Training Expectations:

  • As this is a virtual training, not a webinar, each particpant must have access to a camera, mic and internet
  • Requirements to receive a certificate:
    • Attend the entire training, with camera on (infrequent breaks from the camera are permitted)
    • Participate in break out rooms and activities
  • Please contact AHVNA prior to registration if this is an issue and we can help problem solve.

We want you to get as much out of the virtual training as you would an in-person training!
